Hello Azerothicans!
Today marks the 15th anniversary of Azerothica! 2011-2026!
It feels a little strange to write that. When I first created this site back on June 16th, 2011, I never imagined it would still be online 15 years later. A lot has changed since then, both with World of Warcraft and with life in general, but somehow Azerothica is still here.
The site has not been very active in recent years, and I know I do not post updates as often as I used to. Even so, I still keep the site online, pay the hosting, check comments when I see them, and keep the galleries and old downloads available for those who still enjoy them. Azerothica has become more of an archive these days, but it is still my little adult corner of Azeroth on the internet.
And honestly, that is what Azerothica has always been about. A place for NSFW World of Warcraft art, naughty creativity, nude patches, lewd characters, and all the horny little fantasies people have had around Azeroth over the years. Whether you are here for the artwork, the old patches, the memories, or simply because you enjoy seeing your favorite fantasy characters in a more exposed way, I am happy this place still has something to offer.
As usual, the anniversary would not feel complete without a new piece of artwork. This year’s artwork features my paladin Esidien together with my friend’s paladin Aleana. Esidien has always had a blue paladin theme, while Aleana has a golden paladin theme, so the two of them together felt like a perfect fit for Azerothica’s 15th anniversary.
The finished artwork was created by the incredibly talented Shina, who has once again helped bring this yearly tradition to life. This time, Esidien and Aleana are celebrating with a huge 15th anniversary cake, glowing blue and golden paladin energy, and a proper Azerothica banner behind them. It feels like exactly the kind of playful, lewd, Warcraft-inspired celebration this site deserves.
I really love how this piece turned out. It has the familiar Shina style, the bold outlines, the bright colors, the fantasy pinup energy, and of course just enough skimpy paladin depravity to feel right at home on Azerothica.
For more of Shina’s art, you can visit Shina’s website.
World of Warcraft is also in an exciting place again with Midnight now live. We are back in familiar elven lands, and player housing has finally arrived after so many years of players asking for it. I have always liked the idea of having a personal space in Azeroth, so it is funny to see WoW finally add housing during the same year Azerothica turns 15.
In a way, Azerothica has always been my own little “player house” on the internet. A place for art, memories, creativity, World of Warcraft, and of course the more adult and depraved side of the community. Not every little corner of the internet needs to be clean, polished, corporate, or safe for work. Some places are allowed to be weird, horny, nostalgic, and made by people who simply enjoy fantasy in their own way.
To everyone who still visits, comments, lurks, enjoys the NSFW artwork, goons to the galleries, or still uses the old nude patches for their own private in-game enjoyment, thank you. Azerothica has always been about adult fantasy, creativity, and giving people a naughty little corner of Azeroth to enjoy in their own way. I know the site is not what it once was, but I still appreciate every lewdie who keeps coming back.
I also know the nude patch scene is not what it used to be. Things changed a lot after the 2019 banwave, and I personally stopped using nude patches or anything that modifies the live game client. But I still understand why people loved them. For many, it was never about cheating or gaining an advantage. It was about making their own characters look the way they wanted, adding some spice to their private adventures, and enjoying Azeroth with a little more skin than Blizzard intended.
That spirit is still part of Azerothica. Even if the patches are old, even if the site is quieter now, and even if many of the old communities are gone, the idea behind this place remains the same: adult Warcraft fantasy, lewd artwork, nostalgia, and a bit of harmless depravity.
To everyone who has supported Azerothica over the years, thank you. To those who only quietly lurk and never comment, thank you as well. And to those who simply come here once in a while to enjoy the art and have a private moment with their favorite characters, you are exactly the kind of degenerate this site was made for.
Happy 15th anniversary to Azerothica!
Here’s to World of Warcraft, old memories, new adventures, player housing, naked pixels, horny galleries, and strange little websites that somehow refuse to disappear.
Enjoy the anniversary, enjoy the artwork, and thank you for being part of Azerothica after all these years.
