What does this fixed wow exe do?
The fixed wow.exe forces wow to open custom patches such as the Azerothica Nude Patch.
Why is it needed?
The fixed wow.exe is needed to run any custom patch that makes changes to 3d models. The Azerothica Model Change nude patch changes the female characters in World of Warcraft and that means this is needed for that nude patch to run.
“Cannot stream required archive data. Please check your network connection” Error:(Blizzard MPQs)
Reason:
Basically one or more of your Blizzard MPQs isn’t completed. Thus WoW is trying to stream data but can’t since the patched exe has “Wow.mfil” disabled.
Fix:
Go to the Html page made by Jh16 and select your locale. >>Clicky<<
Note: this isn’t completed yet so I will need help in knowing the structures in different Data folders. For the most part they should be the same, if you find something that is missing or needs to be changed please send me a PM to Jh16 on Darknest Here >>Clicky<<
After you select the locale find the MPQ that is listed in the streaming error and click on it and it will start to download.
If you want to backup your current MPQ you can remove it from its directory before you place the newly downloaded MPQ into its place.
Once you place the new downloaded MPQ into the location the original was located you should be able to use the patched exe.
If you continue to get streaming errors for different Blizzard MPQs just continue to download and place them into their respective directories until you are able to get to the login screen without a streaming error.

Note: Older fixed wow exe’s may not work on Private Servers, as they were ment for retail servers.
Make sure you backup your wow.exe before applying the fixed exe.

too bad, i can’t download patches…apparently there are a security risk.
most links need to be converted to https, so for now you need to right click on the buttons and “save as” then it works.

If you can get arctium launcher to work from their website then yes. Since all of my most recent nude patches still contain the nude skins for the classic characters =)

I doubt it, it was made for retail WoW back when it was running these versions. I just keep these here if other modders want earlier wow version .exe files.

You can try my Lich King nude patch, if its running on a v3.3.5 game client that is old and if it uses .mpq files, you can put my patch into the data folder.

Can you make a patch for 5.4.8 private server? I just want to play the Pandaren story with nude mod
Depending on which private server you play, it can depend on if they allow mods or not. Warmane Mists of Pandaria server I think allows mods. At least their WotLK v3.3.5 server does, and that means you dont have to use any fixed exe to use mods.
So I think you just need to add these MPQ files into the data folder and it should work. Though it is so long ago that I have used mods for Mists of Pandaria because I never played private servers with that, I only played Mists of Pandaria during the time it was live, almost 10 years ago by now.
All WoW.exe files listed here were never created for any private servers. They were only created for live wow at the time it was running this expansion. I am still hosting these files here if anyone with knowledge on how to modify them further can do so.
How might I do it for a 7.3.5 private server?
For those wondering, xdelta can be used to make patches for these exes for use in private servers. All you need is the private server exe and the game’s original exe to generate a patch that can be applied to these exes.
How might one go about doing this? I’ve never heard of Xdelta before.

Extract xdelta to a folder. Then create two files in that folder named ‘create patch.bat’ and ‘apply patch.bat’. Right click and edit them as follows.
‘create patch.bat’:
xdelta3-3.1.0-x86_64.exe -e -s “path\to\originalexe.exe” “path\to\privateserverexe.exe” “.\wowpatch”
pause
‘apply patch.bat’:
xdelta3-3.1.0-x86_64.exe -n -d -s “path\to\exetobepatched.exe” “.\wowpatch” “.\Customexe.exe”

Make sure to change the paths as required. Afterwards, double click on the bat files to run them and create your new exe.

No problem for the late response, I ended up quitting that server before you answered though 3:
On this new one, I couldn’t figure it out sadly… running the .bats caused an error where iut says “the filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect”. Tried investigating the error and trying their methods to fix it (which was essentially remove all funny characters from the directories, which I did. Unless it doesn’t like caps, which I can’t really get rid of, it’s stuck.
Is it possible to use Arohks with Articium Launcher for Classic? Or is that not possible now due to the .exe change?

I think they still update it to work with the most recent version of retail and classic but please keep in mind that there’s always a small chance of a banwave for users using third party software. It’s however only happened once in the entire history of wow’s life in april of 2019 which was reverted so everyone could play again who was affected by the banwave.

The arctium launcher or fixed exe files were never made with private servers in mind. They were modified in such a way it would work on live wow back when they were using the specific patch numbers.
I cannot give any guidance in how it would work for your private server, as I just don’t now. Otherwise i’d love to tell you. But for private servers, people have to tinker around themselves.
If you run your own private server, I think you can disable “warden” in your config file for your own private server, before launching it. But I don’t know much other then that.
In fact it is not a private servers.Just because I’m in China and when I enter the WOW by Arcitium ，it can not link server.So it may something wrong with it .
