What does this fixed wow exe do?
The fixed wow.exe forces wow to open custom patches such as the Azerothica Nude Patch.
Why is it needed?
The fixed wow.exe is needed to run any custom patch that makes changes to 3d models. The Azerothica Model Change nude patch changes the female characters in World of Warcraft and that means this is needed for that nude patch to run.
“Cannot stream required archive data. Please check your network connection” Error:(Blizzard MPQs)
Reason:
Basically one or more of your Blizzard MPQs isn’t completed. Thus WoW is trying to stream data but can’t since the patched exe has “Wow.mfil” disabled.
Fix:
Go to the Html page made by Jh16 and select your locale. >>Clicky<<
Note: this isn’t completed yet so I will need help in knowing the structures in different Data folders. For the most part they should be the same, if you find something that is missing or needs to be changed please send me a PM to Jh16 on Darknest Here >>Clicky<<
After you select the locale find the MPQ that is listed in the streaming error and click on it and it will start to download.
If you want to backup your current MPQ you can remove it from its directory before you place the newly downloaded MPQ into its place.
Once you place the new downloaded MPQ into the location the original was located you should be able to use the patched exe.
If you continue to get streaming errors for different Blizzard MPQs just continue to download and place them into their respective directories until you are able to get to the login screen without a streaming error.

Note: Older fixed wow exe’s may not work on Private Servers, as they were ment for retail servers.
Make sure you backup your wow.exe before applying the fixed exe.

You know…bow animations for worgen female are kinda…weird with model change….is there something you can do?
I’m not the actual model editor of the model edits. You can read the credits text on the download page, who did what of the nude patch. You should then take contact to the person on Darknest in a private message about your concern.

i cant get it to work it says when try to log in unable to validate game virsion what do i do help please
im still having truble with the exe file, if i remove the MPQs it get “Cannot stream required archive data”, but when i leave em and just use the new exe for 17128 it says my login files are corrupt.
i hope you’ll find another way to deal with these annoying hotfixes leading up to a new wow patch 🙂

in data/cache and rename it to SoundCache-patch-15595.MPQ or SoundCache-patch-15354.MPQ or SoundCache-patch-15211.MPQ or

There’s a problem with the newest wow versions.
Whenever you try to login using the “fixed exe”, it tells you to download the new versions of enGB patch 17266 or smthing like that.
When you do, remove em again (as the guy from here says) it says that the game is Invalid and closes instantly.

Upon removing these two files, we get the message:
“Your Login Files are Corrupt, please Reinstall the Game”.

Detailed info on what you can do or might have done wrong.
How to fix it:
First of all there is 4 MPQs to remove, not just 2 but 4 !!! Right now we are using the exe version 17128, you have to remove the 4 (four) MPQs that is higher than 17128, you will find the first 2 in the data folder, …world of warcraft/data, the next two got the same number but is located in the …warcraft/data/enGB folder, remove the 2 MPQs also.
This is all i did after reinstalling the game cuz i fucked it up trying everything else, i know the 23gb download is gonna take time, but if this does not work after just removing the 4 MPQs then i suggest you do it, delete and reinstall the entire game.
"Both the new MPQ files contain "new" DBC files.
The patched client with a version number lower than Blizzard MPQs can't handle these "new" DBC files."
And Dont ever use the launcher again, it will download the MPQs for the next patch and fuck it up again.

There is a new mini patch 17371 esidien which makes current fixed exe require the update
Everytime I launch WoW with the patch having been placed in my data folder, I manage to login, however straight after logging in I get this screen come up ( http://i.imgur.com/mNVmMLg.jpg ). Any solutions? This happens when I launch with the fixed launcher as well. c:
The reason why you are getting that error is you are using an out-of-date exe.

I confirm this issue, The fixed-wow exe is 17371 (latest) and the wow.exe original has changed to 17399 dunno which is which. :S We just had server restarts here in Europe and suddenly it’s asking me to update patch.
Confirmed, (US-West here) it was patched today to 17399.
